Yellow line: Longueuil- Université-de-Sherbrooke - Berri-UQAM

The yellow line includes three stations and crosses the St. Lawrence River from Montréal Island to Longueuil. It is a well-known fact that it is the deepest line on the network, reaching 55 metres under Bonsecours Street.

The yellow line and its main station on St. Helen's Island were inaugurated in 1967 for the World's Fair in Montréal. Designed to accommodate crowds, this station received a record number of people who came to visit Terre des Hommes.

Since then, all the station names along this line have changed: Berri de Montigny became Berri-UQAM in 1988, île Sainte-Hélène was renamed Jean-Drapeau in 2001 and Longueuil became Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke.
