Green line: Angrignon-Honoré Beaugrand

With its 27 stations, the green line occupies an important place in the Montréal metro network. Crossing the heart of the business and entertainment districts, it plays a fundamental role in in the daily life of countless Montrealers, suburban residents and tourists. The portion between the Atwater and Berri-UQAM stations accommodates thousands of people every day.


The first section of the green line was built from Atwater to Frontenac in the framework of the first network in 1966. It was extended to the east in 1976 all the way to Honoré-Beaugrand station, then extended west to Angrignon station in 1978.
